Springwood Friendship Club has been in operation for over 40 years and extends a warm and friendly invitation to connect with others in our community. The Club operates out of the Ivan Lovell Hall at the Springwood Seventh Day Adventist Church, 121 Barbaralla Drive, Springwood from 10am to 12pm on Tuesdays during each school term (not operational during school holidays).
Volunteers assist with activities which can include board games, quizzes, bring and buys, cooking demonstrations, movies, mild exercises, sing-a-longs, craft and participation in various fundraising events such as the Biggest Morning Tea, Mission Possible, Storm Co, Care Flight etc. Guest speakers are regularly organised throughout the terms with talks on safety, road rules, eye health, bush care, local heritage, holiday trips etc.
The current cost is $3.00 per session attended, which includes morning tea. Hope to see you soon.
